Share and share alike 有福同享、平均分配
    2018-05-07  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: John is using my new headphones, mom!

B: Don’t be so selfish. It’s share and share alike in this house.

Note: This term can be either used by members of a group who pledge equal portions of entitlements or obligations, or by people given equal rights to or equal portions of profits, assets and bequests according to law. Daniel Defoe used “share and share alike” in “The Life and Strange Adventures of Robinson Crusoe” in 1719, in one of the earliest sightings of the phrase in literature, according to the Phrase Finder. (“He declared he had reserved nothing from the men, and went share and share alike with them in every bit they eat.”)
