The three are also the national second-class athletes. SFLS has always attached great importance to fostering well-rounded students. In recent years the school’s fencing team has become particularly high performing and competitive. Seven out of the 12 athletes on the team have gained individual or group titles at the National Fencing Championship for Middle School Students. As a result, the Middle School Students Sports Association entrusted the school to represent China to compete in the foil, épée and saber events at the 2018 Gymnasiade. (Yang Mei) |
