‘Always and Forever’

A collection of Audrey Hepburn’s personal items and props used in her films are on display at the “Always and Forever” exhibition, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the acting and fashion legend’s personal life.

Dates: Until Aug. 15

Hours: 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.

Tickets: 188 yuan, free for children under 1.2 meters, 30 percent off for seniors aged over 60 and students

Design exhibitions

Exhibitions “Minding the Digital” (until June 3) and “Values of Design” (until 2019) are being held in Shekou. Drawing from the V&A’s extensive collection in London, “Values of Design” features over 250 objects from year 900 to the present. “Minding the Digital” brings visitors into a novel world of immersive experiences shaped by digital technologies.

Regong thangkas

More than 60 finely painted Regong thangkas created by Qinghai master Niang Ben and his students are on display. A thangka is a Tibetan Buddhist painting on cotton, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala.

Dates: Until May 27

Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., closed Mondays

Ganoderma exhibition

Themed “Auspicious Sign of the East, Blessings in Bao’an,” the Ganoderma Culture Exhibition is showcasing over 60 breeds of ganoderma, a genus of large mushrooms that grows on wood that includes over 80 speciest.
