A CHINESE ancient clothes irons museum, with the largest number of ancient bronze iron collections of high quality, was inaugurated in Shangwei Art Village of Guanhu Subdistrict in Bao’an on May 11. The inauguration of the museum was a part of the village’s art activities during the 14th ICIF. Over 100 clothes irons with distinct and exquisite patterns were selected to demonstrate craftsmanship from different periods in the Chinese history. A series of relevant exhibitions, forums, art fairs and workshops also unfolded. The main exhibition area was divided into four parts, namely the “Creation Market,” “Language of Arts,” “History of Shangwei” and “Walking Into the Art Village,” providing visitors with a multi-dimensional artistic experience.
