CPC’s governance wisdom hailed by Argentine guest

AS an attendee of the second China-CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Political Parties Forum, which kicked off in the city yesterday, Gustavo Rene Hein was amazed at what China has achieved in the past four decades under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

“In this visit to Shenzhen, I have witnessed the astonishing achievements made by China under the leadership of the CPC in the short span of 40 years of reform and opening up. This kind of rapid and efficient development is very rare in the world,” said Hein, chairman of the Republican Proposal Party in Entre Rios Province and mayor of the Argentine city of Basavilbaso.

He said he was very impressed by China’s mode of development under the leadership of CPC, including its long-term planning and the solutions to social affairs and social contradictions through democratic consultations, which according to him are well worth learning.

“We should not only learn from China’s experience in country governance, but should also gain a better understanding of China’s social, cultural and economic development so as to benefit from the experience,” said Hein.

According to him, China’s rapid development has attracted increasing attention from the world. At the same time, the opening up of China has made its achievements visible to, identified and learned by other countries.

“As Argentina and China are far away, many local people and officials do not know much about China. I look forward to promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, culture and tourism through such a platform,” Hein added.
