Tan Huamu’s paintings

“The South: Tan Huamu’s Pictorial Diary” traces the exceptional career of Guangdong painter Tan Huamu (1896-1976). His paintings express the dynamic interaction between nature, humans and society.

Dates: Until June 17

Venue: He Xiangning Art Museum, Overseas Chinese Town, 9013 Shennan Boulevard, Nanshan District (南山区深南大道9013号华侨城何香凝美术馆)

‘Ceremony & Daily’

Sculptures by Cai Zhisong and oil paintings by He Wenjue are on display at J Space in OCT-LOFT and KK Mall shopping plaza, infusing contemporary art into city life. Titled “Ceremony & Daily,” the exhibition aims to record the artists’ daily memories in a contemporary art form.

Dates: Until July 15

‘Values of Design’

Drawing from the V&A’s extensive collection in London, exhibition “Values of Design” features over 250 objects from year 900 to the present.

Pan Yuliang

Vibrant portrait, landscape and still life paintings created by legendary Chinese artist Pan Yuliang (1895-1977) are on display, giving insight into the strong woman’s dreams, longings and artistic outlook.
