EXPATS CELEBRATE UPCOMING DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
    2018-06-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Expats learn to make zongzi, a glutinous rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves, at the Haibin community service center in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, on Thursday, to welcome the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on Monday this year. The activity was co-organized by the center and Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats. The Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, has been marked by eating zongzi and racing dragon boats in China for thousands of years.Yang Yan
