Ukiyo-e paintings

More than 200 Japanese ukiyo-e paintings created from the Edo period (1603-1868) to the Meiji period (1868-1912) are on display. Masterpieces by Utagawa Hiroshige, Katsushika Hokusai and Suzuki Harunobu are featured.

Caricatures

Hua Junwu’s caricatures are on display. Hua (1915-2010) is a pioneer of caricature illustrations, a style commonly used in comics and political cartoons, in China. He is most known for works exposing social issues with both style and insight.

‘Always and Forever’

A collection of Audrey Hepburn’s personal items and props used in her films are on display at the “Always and Forever” exhibition.
