Xiong Cu, Class 1, Senior 2, Shenzhen Foreign Languages School Instructed by Tang Hong 深圳外国语学校高中部高一(2)班熊楚 指导老师:唐红 As a 16-year-old high school student living in Shenzhen, I find it hard to tell specifically what I’m passionate about after having seen and experienced such a great variety of things. So my answer to this question is: trying. Trying different kinds of food is just like having exciting adventures. You can see them, smell them, but you will never know what they taste like until you put them in your mouth. Besides, different from many fastidious children, I have managed to adapt to those foods I didn’t like by keeping trying. I’ve grown up being more healthy and energetic as a result. Trying to meet new people is also a great pleasure for me. You can never judge a person by his or her appearance. An ugly person may have a crystal heart, and an evil thought may exist under someone’s fair skin. Trying to get to know them makes me not shy anymore, and it also teaches me some social skills. Trying to go somewhere I haven’t been to is such a terrific enjoyment! Just think about the green trees and red roses growing at an unknown island, the colorful fish swimming in the Pacific Ocean, and the light shining on the pyramids! This idea sounds greedy, but I do want to go to every corner of the world. Living in the present days and keeping trying to always fill my life with surprises and excitement. I will never cease to try. |
