I have lived in Shenzhen for many years and I just love how parks, trees and plants have developed in the past years giving Shenzhen a better look. So many things are done for the environment; it’s really satisfying.

Lianhua Hill Park management has set up a lot of equipment comprising of running water on the front and garbage recycling bins on the back.

But in my opinion there is a major design flaw in these water faucets: They don’t automatically stop; they must be manually stopped. Most of water faucets in public facilities have an automatic stop function. You press on top of it and the water runs for only a few seconds so that there are no risks of forgetting to turn off the faucet and wasting water.

Seeing how water is becoming more precious, auto-stop faucets should be used in public areas in order to prevent people from forgetting to turn them off.
