‘Always and Forever’

A collection of Audrey Hepburn’s personal items and props used in her films are on display at the “Always and Forever” exhibition.

Ukiyo-e paintings

More than 200 Japanese ukiyo-e paintings created from the Edo period (1603-1868) to the Meiji period (1868-1912) are on display at Yealife. Masterpieces by Utagawa Hiroshige, Katsushika Hokusai and Suzuki Harunobu are featured.

‘Beyond the Scenery’

The “Beyond the Scenery” public art exhibition is showcasing eight art installations in OCT-LOFT. According to curator Shen Ruijun, the exhibition borrows ideas from traditional Chinese gardening culture to explore possibilities in bridging modern life and Chinese cultural values in OCT-LOFT, the old-factories-turned cultural and entertaining complex.

‘View of City’

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up, the “View of City” photography exhibition is being held in town. The exhibition features 100 sets of old and new photos contrasting Shenzhen’s past and present. Landmark spots such as the Shenzhen River, Huaqiangbei and Shahe Bridge were recorded in photos taken in 1984 and 1985.
