Huaqiangbei underground business street to open
    2018-07-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 1-KILOMETER underground business street running beneath Huaqiang Road North in Futian District will open tomorrow, according to the Shenzhen Economic Daily yesterday.

The underground facility is regarded as a new business landmark. It is connected with Metro lines 1, 2, 3 and 7.

Covering 50,000 square meters, the business facility is comprised of five atrium squares, four themed commercial spaces and three feature galleries.

The design of the underground street adds science and art elements to the business atmosphere.

The business street is divided into two parts: 30,000 sqm of creative space with five atrium squares, highlighting science, leisure, water, art and sharing. According to the organizers, high-quality art exhibitions will be held regularly in the area.

The three corridors featuring music, leisure and ecology will slow down commuters and shoppers to enjoy and rest. They can experience 3-D stereo effects by connecting a music app with the instruments provided. According to the developer, Shenzhen Fashion Group, solo musician concerts and mini concerts will be held in the music corridor.
