A HUNDRED measures that aim to optimize the operating system of Qianhai Cooperation Zone People’s Court and perfect its services were released Thursday in Qianhai.

According to the court, the measures had been mulled over for the past five months and will be implemented one by one by the end of 2019.

As a national pilot judicial reform institution, the court is poised to provide more replicable practices for other courts by carrying out these measures in nine aspects, namely to complete its liability system, improve its international credibility, further construct its dispute settlement mechanism, help create a business-friendly environment in Qianhai, promote judicial transparency, build an online service platform, cultivate a professional team, and more.

According to the list of measures, it is noteworthy that the court will improve its judicial supervision system by standardizing the evaluation and accountability systems of judges, upgrading its case classification mode to allow “simple” cases to be settled within a short time, continuing to adopt Hong Kong law and related dispute settlement practices in certain cases, encouraging Shenzhen and Hong Kong judicial cooperation, striving to perfect its intelligence property protection mechanism, and protecting entrepreneurs’ rights and minority shareholders’ rights in accordance with the law.

It also claims it will utilize the Internet, big data, speech recognition technology, electronic litigation documents, and build an e-evidence center.
