Xin’an urges cadres to take more responsibility for work
    2018-07-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A THEMED meeting was convened at Xin’an Subdistrict Office on July 11 to urge all cadres and staff members of the subdistrict office to take more responsibility for providing better services for residents. Over 300 people joined the meeting.

The conference started with videos showing several safety accidents that took place in the subdistrict to reveal safety issues that exist in the area. According to the subdistrict’s street patrolling teams, there are some urgent safety issues to be handled.

Each work unit in the subdistrict office was required to list five existing problems and possible solutions.

The issue of corruption was also stressed at the meeting. A set of rules on curbing sloppy work and corruption among cadres and staff members of the subdistrict’s working units was released. A special supervising team was also set up to oversee the work of officials and staffers and check for corruption.

The rules require the supervising team to have conversations with each cadre and staff member working in the subdistrict office, as well as community offices, stock companies, and other subordinate work units on a regular basis.

Gao Rongwang, director of the Party work committee of Xin’an Subdistrict Office, addressed the importance of taking work seriously in July, as the third quarter of the year is a key period for determining the quality of the entire year. The director urged all cadres and staff members to carry out more practical work at a high efficiency and quality.

The subdistrict office convened another special meeting to sort out the key tasks left for the year by setting deadlines and specifying who will be responsible for their completion. (Cindy Zhang)
