Metro work progressing
    2018-08-01  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

CONSTRUCTION on Metro Line 13 is making progress, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

At present, greening projects near nine stations on the Metro line have been completed, relocating a total of 4,052 trees. The projects aim to make way for the Metro line.

Meanwhile, the relocation of drainage pipelines and gas pipelines at three stations has also started.

Metro Line 13 runs about 22.45 kilometers through Nanshan, Bao’an and Guangming. The line is underground and has 16 stations, of which 12 are interchange stations.

Connecting Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint and Xili, the Metro line is of great significance to the development of urban rail transit in Shenzhen as well as the urban planning of southern Shenzhen.

Work on Metro Line 13 is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
