Futian home to largest area of shopping centers

AN area of 1.48 million square meters will be added to the city’s shopping centers by the end of this year, and Futian District will account for the largest share.

In the first half of this year, three shopping centers have opened in Shenzhen including UpperHills in Futian, Mixc One and HNACity in Longgang. The capacity of shopping center has reached 6.382 million square meters up to now.

Four new high-end retail hubs will enter the market in the third quarter of this year, bringing 255 thousand square meters of retail sales in total.

Furniture mall to open soon

THE original Kinhom mall in Futian CBD has undergone renovation and will soon open as Futian Heung Kong Furniture Mall.

The mall will become “an experience center for the new business model of pan-furniture in Shenzhen CBD.” At the same time, the large commercial complex will accommodate catering, entertainment and recreation. During the renovation of the mall, the products will be sold at lower prices.
