THEMED “Connect to the Future,” the Sino-Swiss Innovation Conference was held in Shenzhen on July 17, attracting businessmen and students from over 100 scientific research institutions and enterprises from both China and Switzerland. On the same day, the Sino-Swiss Innovation Center was unveiled. The conference was guided by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and organized by the Futian Technology & Innovation Bureau. Zhou Jian, general manager of China Electronics Information Service Co., said at the conference that China Electronics Information Service Co. as a leading company in electronics information service should utilize China’s electronics information resources to build an international intelligent hardware platform in Huaqiangbei. Georges Kotrotsios, vice president of the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM), said Shenzhen experienced rapid development in science and technology, especially in green innovation. CSEM wishes to cooperate with the Futian’s district government, China Electronics Information Service Co. and CECIS Valley in the future. The first batch of companies in robots, wireless charging, facial recognition, automatic driving and cancer detection signed agreements to settle in the innovation center. (Chen Xiaochun) |
