THE Party committee of Futian Urban Management Bureau organized a five-day summer camp for 53 children of sanitation workers recently, aiming to broaden their horizons and help them understand their parents’ work.

The Beautiful Shenzhen Foundation donated 2,000 yuan (US$293) and some stationery to the children that participated in the summer camp.

The activities at the summer camp include watching microfilms of sanitation workers and taking a first-aid class, as well as safety education, outdoor training, psychological counseling, sand painting, and visiting Dapeng Peninsula Geopark and Xiaomeisha Sea World.
