Lost girl reunited with family
    2018-08-07  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 10-YEAR-OLD girl who had gone missing near the Aoxiacun housing estate in Luohu District at around 6:40 p.m. Saturday was finally found by the police after a 28-hour search.

The girl, who is about 1.45 meters tall, was wearing a purple T-shirt, blue striped pants and a green backpack when she was lost. After receiving the report, the Luohu police immediately dispatched officers to look for the girl, checked out surveillance videos and issued a notice for assistance in the investigation.

The parents of the girl’s classmates told reporters that they were all very worried about her after learning the news. They went into the streets to search for her or shared the news on platforms such as WeChat Moments and the Twitter-like Sina Weibo.

The girl was found by Luohu police in Yantian District at around 11 p.m. Sunday night. She is said to have had a row with her family Saturday and decided to leave home on the spur of the moment.

At present, the girl has been reunited with her family and is in good physical condition.
