A night of Beethoven’s classics

Chinese pianist Zhao Yinyin will collaborate with seven musicians from Staatskapelle Dresden in Germany to present Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto No. 1.”

Zhao will also play Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” and the seven foreign musicians — bassoonist Philipp Zeller, cellist Norbert Anger, clarinet player Robert Oberaigner, double bass player Petr Popelka, French hornist Zoltan Macsai, violinist Holger Grohs and violinist Federico Kasik — will also play Beethoven’s “Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20.”

Staatskapelle Dresden is a German orchestra based in Dresden. Founded in 1548, it is one of the world’s oldest orchestras.

Time: 8 p.m., Aug. 21

Tickets: 180-880 yuan
