SF AIRLINES of Shenzhen opened a cargo flight between Shenzhen and Chennai, the fourth-largest city in India, on Sunday.

It is the farthest international cargo route being operated by SF Airlines, and Chennai is the 12th international destination served by SF Express Co.

Job fair for graduates

THE 22nd autumn job fair for college graduates will be held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Oct. 15, according to sources from Shenzhen Public Employment Service Center.

More than 650 enterprises will offer more than 20,000 vacancies for more than 3,000 posts.

The center will also organize an online recruitment from Aug. 28 to Dec. 31 with 1,000 enterprises providing 20,000 vacancies at www.jobsz.com.

Fuel price hike

RETAIL fuel prices in the city were raised by 0.06 yuan (US$0.009) per liter yesterday, following the government’s decision to increase gasoline and diesel prices by 70 yuan per ton.

No. 92 gasoline now stands at 7.46 yuan per liter, while diesel stands at 7.09 yuan per liter.
