New album

AFTER pushing back the release date multiple times, Nicki Minaj’s new album “Queen” finally made its debut Friday.

Minaj went live through the album track-by-track via Apple Music’s Beats 1. It’s Minaj’s first album since 2014’s “The Pinkprint.”

The collection features several collaborations, including “Rich Sex” with Lil Wayne and “Majesty,” featuring Eminem and Labrinth.

In the song “Barbie Dreams,” Minaj takes aim at rappers Meek Mill, Desiigner and Young Thug.

New movie

IDRIS ELBA will star in and produce the indie “Ghetto Cowboy.”

The film follows 15-year-old Cole, who is forced to live with his estranged father, Harp (Elba), in north Philadelphia where, despite the surrounding poverty and violence, he discovers the redemptive world of urban horseback riding.

The movie is based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Greg Neri. Dan Walser and Ricky Staub wrote the screenplay, with Staub set to make his directorial debut on the project.

Tour canceled

AS Demi Lovato continues treatment after an apparent overdose, Live Nation has announced the cancellation of her fall tour dates.

“Unfortunately, Demi Lovato has canceled her upcoming Tell Me You Love Me Tour dates in South America, as she is focusing on her recovery,” the company said. “The six-city tour was scheduled to visit Chile, Argentina, and Brazil starting Nov. 14. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase and credit card purchases will be automatically refunded.”

The Grammy-nominated singer was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles earlier last week and has entered an undisclosed rehab facility.(SD-Agencies)
