Century Place, a 49-floor skyscraper in Futian District, will hold a tower running event Sept. 15 and 16.

Sports enthusiasts who are between 18 and 45 years old are welcome to apply for climbing the 1,261 steps of the 220-meter-high Century Place.

The organizer will accept 350 male runners and 150 female runners who will run Sept. 15 and 100 groups of three who will run Sept. 16.

The champion for the male or the female category will be awarded 2,500 yuan, runner-up 1,500 yuan and second runner-up 1,000 yuan. The champion for the three-person group (2 men + 1 woman or 2 women + 1 man) will be awarded 5,000 yuan, runner-up 3,000 yuan and second runner-up 2,000 yuan.
