R&D project

A NATIONAL key R&D project led by Han’s Laser, which focuses on the application of laser welding equipment and technology for large thin-walled components, was officially launched in Bao’an District on Sept. 7.

Chen Yan, general manager of Han’s Laser Smart Equipment Group, said the project is the first State-level key R&D project led by the company, indicating that a significant breakthrough has been made by Han’s Laser in undertaking major R&D national projects.

Innovative programs

TWELVE outstanding Russian projects were demonstrated at the China-Russia Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Meeting held in Shenzhen F518 Idea Land on Sept. 10. The projects are seeking to win business resources from more than 10 Shenzhen enterprises.

The projects covered areas such as intelligent hardware, business incubators, urban environment smart space and smart residential housing, pan-entertainment, 3-D modeling, IT and computer hardware.

Association set up

A LISTED company association was established in Bao’an District on Sept. 3, in a bid to build a high-quality service platform dedicated to the district’s listed enterprises.

The association, which is a local and nonprofit organization, aims to make full use of its advantages in various fields to help promote the stable and healthy development of the capital market.

At present, the number of listed companies in Bao’an has reached 36, accounting for 8.88 percent of the city’s 405 listed enterprises. There are 149 Bao’an companies listed in the new third board, accounting for 17.46 percent of the city’s 853.
