SHENZHEN Social Emergency Aid Association was established recently in an effort to create a public emergency aid system in residential neighborhoods, public areas and work places through partnership with Shenzhen Family Doctor Association and Shenzhen Emergency Management Association.

Fraudsters arrested

SEVEN fraudsters who cheated futures investors by promising high returns were recently caught in rented apartments in Longgang District.

The suspects boasted about earning a lot of quick money using WeChat to cheat investors with a pre-set futures trading software. After an investor had transferred money to their accounts for trading, the investor would lose contact with them. The suspects were caught Sept. 20.

Holiday safety

SHENZHEN police mobilized 19,000 officers and police aides to ensure safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which saw crowds of people gathering in public areas to enjoy the light show, in parks to enjoy the moon and at terminals to travel.
