SZ students win Times Young Creative Award
    2018-09-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Two microfilms depicting student life named “Fly Against the Wind” and “Dreams Create the Future” created by Shenzhen schools’ staff and students got prime time airplay on educational TV channels recently.

The two films show what can be made possible by integrating the study of animation with student associations and photography associations in vocational schools.

“Fly Against the Wind,” which won the Times Young Creative Award, the highest award for film and TV among the nation’s primary and secondary schools, is a story about two sophomores in vocational schools who encourage each other when they encountered frustrations. Instead of giving up, they strive to chase their musical dreams.

Three inspirational songs, performed by students from the school, were used throughout the story. One episode titled “After School” was an original work by student Mo Peipei. This positive film is an illustration of the special spiritual outlook held by students in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
