Old ration coupons A variety of Chinese ration coupons issued between 1955 and 1994 are on display. The exhibition features more than 300 grain coupons, cloth coupons, meat coupons and furniture coupons. China’s commodity rationing system was established in 1955 when commodities were scarce and the system loosened its grip on commerce in the 1990s.
