Mexican man mauled by pet lion
    2018-10-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 41-YEAR-OLD Mexican man has been seriously injured by a white lion he kept in the backyard of his luxury house along with a tiger as pets.

Local media reported the attack happened when Erick Noe Romero Meraz was throwing a party in his luxury home in Ciudad Juarez, an upscale neighborhood in Mexico.

Meraz reportedly called his the pets to him when one of the big cats became aggressive and attacked its owner.

Meraz was left with injuries in his legs, kneecap and neck, and sent to hospital.

The victim’s family claim they have all the necessary documents to allow them to keep the big cats as pets, all said to be around 1 year old.
