SZ students fetch awards at tai-chi competition

The Tai-chi Association of Shenzhen Nanhai Primary School recently fetched three first prizes, 15 second prizes and 11 third prizes in individual events at the 14th International Tai-chi Contest of Handan China, organized by Wushu Sports Administration Center of the State General Administration of Sports and Handan Municipal People’s Government.

The sports event gathered 1,869 tai-chi lovers from 27 countries. Thirty-seven students from Shenzhen Nanhai Primary School had excellent performance in the Yang-style tai-chi category. Chen Keyu, Zhang Yang and Zhao Han obtained first prizes in the individual event.

Additionally, as the only children’s team, the team from Shenzhen Nanhai Primary School stood out among 80 teams and was awarded the “Moral Vogue Award.”
