Nanshan Museum

A collection of 231 ancient artifacts from the National Museum of Afghanistan are on display at the Nanshan Museum until Nov. 4. More exhibitions of ancient Chinese stone sculptures, coins and weapons, as well as contemporary Chinese artworks, are also being held until next year.

Chinese photography

“Forty Years of Chinese Contemporary Photography,” a new exhibition featuring photographs taken by Chinese artists from the late 1970s to the present, is being held at OCAT Shenzhen, providing a comprehensive overview of Chinese photography.

Relics

Pieces of Hongshan jade, Majiayao pottery and ancient porcelain collected by Xiangshan Art Museum are on display at the museum. The Hongshan culture was a Neolithic culture in northeastern China. The Majiayao culture was a group of Neolithic communities who lived primarily in the upper Yellow River region in eastern Gansu, eastern Qinghai and northern Sichuan.

Qianhai photos

A photography exhibition marking the eighth anniversary of Qianhai is being held at the special cooperation zone till the end of this year.

The exhibition consists of three themes, namely “Innovative Qianhai,” “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation” and “Qianhai Infrastructure Construction.” Viewers are expected to have an overall understanding of Qianhai’s planning, including its landscape and skyline.
