Piano duo

The Scholtes & Janssens Piano Duo from the Netherlands will present Schubert’s “Winterreise,” Rachmaninoff’s “Six Morceaux, Op. 11” and Stravinsky’s “Petrushka.”

Lestari Scholtes and Gwylim Janssens have been a piano duo since 2003. Currently they are recognized as one of the most promising piano duos of their generation and the leading piano duo from the Netherlands. The duo is well known for their brilliant sound and marvelous technical skills, presenting very intense and energetic performances. This has led them to perform throughout Europe, the Middle East, America and Asia. They are regular jurors at the IBLA Grand Prize International Music Competition in Italy. They have given master classes around the world.

Bernstein & percussion

Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra will play some tunes from Bernstein’s musical “On the Town,” and Ju Percussion Group from Taiwan will then present several percussion pieces. “On the Town” concerns three U.S. sailors on a 24-hour shore leave in New York City during wartime in 1944. Each of the three sailors meets and quickly connects with a woman. The musical introduced several popular and classic songs, among them “New York, New York,” “Lonely Town,” “I Can Cook, Too” and “Some Other Time.”

Machina Del Tango

Machina Del Tango will present a night of Polish tango and Argentine tango.

Tickets: 80-280 yuan
