ITEMS for women and babies with a market value of 1 million yuan (US$145,000) were recently sent to Baise in Guangxi and Kashgar in Xinjiang.

The charity event was organized by the Shenzhen Women’s Federation and the Shenzhen Women and Children’s Development Foundation.

The foundation had been receiving baby-related items from local enterprises since September and sent some of them to the two Shenzhen counterpart aid cities. (Richard Han)
