Paintings by artists from the Chengdu Art Academy are on display at Shenzhen Art Museum.

Founded in 1980, the Chengdu Art Academy centers on helping the creation of art and the training of art talents flourish. It has successively held the Chengdu Art Academy’s Exhibition of Paintings and Calligraphy for many years and more than 100 other art exhibitions. In addition, thousands of artworks have been selected to take part in various art exhibitions at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the Chengdu Art Academy actively develops foreign cultural exchanges. Most of its artists have wide influence at home and abroad.

Houses in the academy have primitive and elegant quadrangle courtyards characteristic of the region, and in 2007, they were named a Sichuan Provincial Heritage Conservation Site.
