Intercity rail

THE rail-laying project for the Shenzhen section of the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen intercity rail will be completed by Dec. 10, sources from the city’s transport commission said.

The rail has 15 stations starting from Xintang in Guangzhou and ending at the Shenzhen airport and extends 76 kilometers. The Shenzhen section covers 17 kilometers and has four stations.

Flight to Paris

HAINAN Airlines will inaugurate a direct flight from Shenzhen to Paris starting Dec. 21.

The flight will operate every Wednesday and Friday, departing Shenzhen at 1:15 a.m. It will arrive in Paris at 7:15 a.m. The return flight will leave the French capital city at 11:35 a.m. and arrive in Shenzhen at 6:25 a.m. the following day, according to www.sznews.com yesterday.

Roadside parking

SHENZHEN Road Traffic Center, the operator of roadside parking spaces, is seeking public suggestions over designating 788 parking spaces on 18 roads in Longhua District. Residents can send suggestions to taozp@sztb.gov.cn by Dec. 12.
