Chinese photography

“Forty Years of Chinese Contemporary Photography,” a new exhibition featuring photographs taken by Chinese artists from the late 1970s to the present, is being held at OCAT Shenzhen, providing a comprehensive overview of Chinese photography.

Dates: Until Dec. 9

Qianhai photos

A photography exhibition marking the eighth anniversary of Qianhai is being held at the special cooperation zone through the end of this year. The exhibition consists of three themes, namely “Innovative Qianhai,” “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation” and “Qianhai Infrastructure Construction.” Viewers are expected to gain an overall understanding of Qianhai’s planning, including its landscape and skyline.

Maya art

Relics of the Maya civilization on loan from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the United States are on display.

Sea World

Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, China’s only institute of higher education with “fashion” in its name, is showcasing part of its 30 years of achievements in fashion design education on the first floor of Sea World Culture and Arts Center until Nov. 30. Meanwhile, the “Values of Design” exhibition at the same venue draws from the V&A’s extensive collection in London, Britain, and features over 250 objects from year 900 to the present.

‘The Road of Avant-Garde’
