China, Palestine draw in Haikou
    2018-11-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

CHINA drew 1-1 against Palestine in their 2018 CFA Team China International Football match in Haihou, Hainan Province, on Tuesday night.

Marcello Lippi, the head coach of the Chinese national team, said at the post-match press conference that his team failed to seize the opportunities during the match. “There are too many mistakes,” he said. “But I didn’t blame my team.”

Lippi pointed out that it’s almost the end of the domestic season and the players were exhausted both physically and mentally.

“I don’t think we should hold a negative attitude to this result,” he said.

It was the last warmup match for the Chinese team this year. They will start a 40-day training camp Dec. 1.
