    2018-11-23  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Bao’an exhibition area in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center attracted more than 160,000 visitors during the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which successfully concluded Sunday afternoon. The event drew a total of 564,000 visitors from 103 countries and regions.

The five-day fair gave audiences a better understanding of Bao’an District’s achievements in technological innovation and development as well as its good business environment.

The main color of the exhibition area was blue. The gate of the exhibition area was composed of LED screens, which manifested the idea that Bao’an gathers technology enterprises from all directions.

The interior of the exhibition area was divided into three parts, including an intelligent interactive exhibition area, innovative enterprises exhibition area and advanced manufacturing exhibition area.

A total of 18 Bao’an enterprises joined the fair to present their innovative and cutting-edge products, including a transparent screen, noodle-making robot, AR intelligent goggles, magnetic levitation wireless charging lighting system, organic fertilizer machine, mixed-color 3-D printer and cuffless blood pressure monitoring device.

Moreover, Bao’an signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT), at the CHTF.

The two sides agreed to optimize and upgrade the industrial structure of Bao’an and utilize SIAT’s advantages in scientific and technological research and development to build an advanced international electronic materials innovation research institute.

Meanwhile, the two will work together to create a platform for talent training and education and establish a platform for technology industry incubation and innovation, so as to create a favorable environment for innovative industries.

Many Bao’an companies said that they had reaped fruitful benefits at this year’s CHTF.

Yu Jun, general manager of Shenzhen Owatis Technology Co. Ltd., told a reporter from the Bao’an Daily that the company’s brand influence had been reinforced at the fair. More than two investment companies have expressed great enthusiasm for the company’s development, which will be further discussed after the fair.

Additionally, the company has not only attracted a number of agents and distributors who are willing to develop cooperation, but also collected some suggestions for product improvement.

A staffer with Shenzhen Allove Intelligent Food (Group) Technology Co. Ltd. said his company had also achieved great results at the fair. Thanks to the local government’s support and the media’s publicity, many companies have expressed willingness for cooperation.
