Desk has touchscreens built in
    2018-12-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

三屏一体式智能电脑桌

A New York-based technology company has unveiled the SmartDesk, which seamlessly transforms between use for sitting or standing and is equipped with all your gadget essentials — down to built-in headphones and a wireless charger. The basic model starts at US$4,500.

Cemtrex, the company behind SmartDesk, is calling it the “most advanced workstation on the market” that blends “futuristic hardware and groundbreaking productivity software.”

The all-in-one setup features three 24-inch monitors atop a desk that are touchscreen and let users manage windows, scroll, zoom, copy, paste, screenshot and navigate solely by using hand gestures.

What’s more, the entire desk plugs into your wall using a single wire.

The monitors are connected to a Windows PC underneath the desk and it runs on an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 Processor.

But the really exciting features involve what’s integrated into the tabletop. The glass-topped desk includes a wireless charger that can juice up your phone without the need for any wires, while a pullout drawer houses a pair of wireless, magnetic earbuds.

A document scanner is also integrated into the setup. A keyboard and trackpad are built directly into the table’s surface.
