SZITI joins hands with society to foster future technicians
    2018-12-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

深圳信息学院举办“明日工匠杯”大赛

The Shenzhen Institute of Technology and Information (SZITI) supported a technical competition under the theme “Technicians for the Future” hosted by its partner school Baise Polytechnic on December 14, aiming to select and encourage talented students from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to shine among their peers in competitions at the provincial and national levels.

A subsidy of 400,000 yuan (US$58,000) has been given to Baise Polytechnic by the Hs Chau Foundation as a reward for prize-winning students and faculty members, with 10,000 yuan for individuals or groups winning district prizes and 20,000 yuan for those winning national prizes. Liu Jing from SZITI stated that the competition was a collaborative effort made by schools and social organizations to foster talents. SZITI will support Baise Polytechnic and its students in a comprehensive way with reference to the path of Shenzhen.

The technical competition will be held next June and consist of 19 events for junior school students and 16 for high school students.
