Eddie Kang’s exhibition
    2018-12-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

South Korean artist Eddie Kang has an exhibition of his paintings, sculptures and installations, with his signature white dog as the main character, at the “Love Me or Hate Me, I Always Love You” exhibition.

Born in 1980, Kang obtained a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Rhode Island School of Design in the United States in 2003. He has held exhibitions in major cities worldwide, such as Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York and Venice. He has always been a popular artist among corporate and international brands and has worked with Amore Pacific, Paul Smith, Fuji Bike and many more.

Kang’s signature character is a white dog, which is an artistic rendition of a stray dog that he adopted, symbolizing love, hope and audacity. Notions of family and love are important to the artist. He hopes his works provide refuge amid unrelenting modern life.

Venue: Luohu Art Museum, 6 Nanji Road, Luohu District (罗湖区南极路6号罗湖美术馆)
