Internet industry recruits most talents
    2019-03-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

DESPITE a decline in talent demand in 2018, the Internet industry still ranks first in recruitment after the Spring Festival, a report released by recruitment website Zhaopin.com showed, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

According to the report, although talent demand is lower this spring than last, the average salary offered by employers has increased. The average salary in Shenzhen is 9,443 yuan (US$1,411), ranking third in the country and up 7 percent year on year.

Internet/e-commerce, real estate/construction/building materials/engineering and education/training are the top three industries with the largest talent demand this spring, which is consistent with the figures in 2018. The electronics industry/semiconductor/integrated circuit has also entered the top 10.

In general, the intermediary service industry has the best recruitment prospects, followed by insurance and outsourcing services. The average salary during this year’s spring recruitment period has increased compared with that of last year, reaching 8,165 yuan.

The city offering the highest average salary is Beijing with 10,910 yuan, up 5.8 percent from 10,309 yuan in 2018. Shanghai ranks second, up from 9,460 yuan in 2018 to 10,231 yuan, an increase of 8.1 percent.

In a report on 5G talent demand released by recruitment website Liepin.com yesterday, Beijing and Shenzhen, where high-tech companies are clustered, hold the first and second places.

According to the salaries of 5G-related technical posts issued by enterprises on Liepin.com, most companies are offering these talents annual salaries ranging from 200,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan. Some enterprises pay 500,000 yuan or more a year to lure senior technicians in the field. (Zhang Yu)
