New SZTU faculty

THE Quality and Standard College of Shenzhen Technology University was inaugurated in Pingshan District on Thursday.

Pingshan District Government, Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Commission and Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) signed a strategic cooperation framework for the joint establishment of the college at the inauguration ceremony.

15th ICIF

THE 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair will be held in mid-May and 90 percent of the exhibition booths at the main venue, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, have been booked by exhibitors. For the first time, the fair will designate an area for the cultural industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Elevator emergency

RESIDENTS who get trapped inside the chamber of an elevator can call 96333 and report the elevator’s six-digit identification code for rescue to get help. The 96333 service platform covers 128,000 elevators in the city. Rescuers will arrive at the scene within 15 minutes on average, half of the required 30-minute response time.

Since its trial operation in 2017, the service platform has received 19,999 phone calls and 7,654 trapped people were rescued in 3,808 cases.
