Residents wear Han costumes to take part in an activity in the Happy Valley theme park in Nanshan District recently. About 150 people attended the activity with a theme of Han costumes. The Han costume was the traditional Chinese clothing until the Qing Dynasty when the clothing was banned by the ruling Manchurians. Nowadays Han costumes are only seen in perforances.
