Mushroom poisoning TWO men were poisoned, one of whom required medical treatment for serious liver damage, after eating a mushroom they had picked in Luotian Park in Bao’an District, according to a source from the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Doctors at Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital said the mushroom they ate was a highly poisonous variety called Amanita Verna, which is commonly seen in GuangdongProvince.
