Marasy, a producer well known on both Niconico and YouTube for his piano covers of popular songs, is coming to Shenzhen Concert Hall tonight.

The program will be chosen from a list of fan favorites that include “Iris,” “Messier,” “Sogna,” “Sakura Wishes,” “AndrOmeda,” “PiaNoFace” and “Let It Go.” He will also play a few newly arranged numbers.

In the videos of his playing, a stuffed pink monkey toy is always placed near his keyboard, but he never shows his face. His most popular video has been viewed 17 million times on the Internet, and he also has posted a few original Vocaloid works.

It is said that the 29-year-old began to play the piano at the age of 4 and gave his first public performance at 9. He started uploading covers in 2008, and was praised for his excellent technique and faithful interpretation of the songs. He covers many Touhou songs as well as a wide variety of other music, such as video game and anime music.

Marasy will play both the piano and electric piano tonight, and lighting and animation on a big screen will create a fantasy world.
