TEDxShenzhen, the former curatorial team of TEDxFutian, is launching their first activity Saturday, after the team was officially certified and upgraded by TED on Jan. 19.

TEDxShenzhen will live-broadcast “Possibility,” the seventh session of TED 2019: Bigger Than Us. Speakers of the session include dancer and choreographer Judith Jamison, marine microbiologist Karen Lloyd, writer Rob Reid, Paleoanthropologist Ella AI-Shamahi, undersea explorer Victor Vescovo and serious comedian Hannah Gadsby.

In addition to listening to the talks of TED 2019 fellows, TEDxShenzhen will also initiate discussions among audience members to stimulate imagination and spark new thoughts.
