THE city has introduced a civility and credibility point accumulation system to support those with good records in education, employment, business startup and social service, according to an implementation plan on strengthening the construction of personal credibility released in a recent government gazette.

The city will implement a unified social credibility code system and improve personal records, especially for groups like government employees, legal persons of enterprises and social organizations, lawyers, teachers, accountants, auditors, housing agents, financial employees and tourist guides.

Those with bad records, especially regarding pharmacy, environmental protection, project quality, work safety, traffic and transport violations, and firefighting, that jeopardize health and safety of the general public, or disrupt fair and normal social order in cases like bribery, tax evasion, debt default, illegal fund-raising and fraud, will be warned, reprimanded, publicly denounced, disqualified, restricted or dismissed, depending on the actual situation.
