Meaning:

“Ins” is what Chinese people use as a short for “Instagram,” a photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by Facebook, Inc., and “风,” with the literal meaning of “wind,” refers to “style.” Many people and small restaurants have become instant hits on Instagram after posting nice photos, proving the magic power of a good photo. Chinese netizens coin the word to refer to a style of fashion, photography and interior decoration that is equivalent to being “modern and trendy, feeling good and very photogenic.”
