An orangutan hugs a man at an event marking International Day for Biological Diversity held at Shenzhen Safari Park on Wednesday morning. The arrival of the red-haired orangutan named Mao Mao drew the attention of tourists and pushed the activity to a climax. Photographic works featuring species native to Guangdong Province and elsewhere in China, wild animal and plant specimens, and the current status of endangered animal population management were exhibited at the event.
