Paintings and letters

Elegant paintings, letters and calligraphic works made by members of a Chinese cultural group active in the early 1900s are on display. Entry is free.

Dates: Until May 31

Teng Wenjin’s artworks

Teng Wenjin, one of the creators of Shenzhen’s iconic Deng Xiaoping statue on top of the Lianhua Hill, is exhibiting 400 sculptures and paintings selected from his creations in the past 50 years.

Dates: Until May 31

Venue: Guofeng Art, Wuhe Boulevard, Longgang District (龙岗区五和大道国风艺术馆)

Sea World

Frank F. Yang Art and Education Foundation and Design Society are jointly presenting “The Evolution of Communication” exhibition curated by Ying Kwok at Park View Gallery inside Sea World Culture and Arts Center until June 24. Entry is free. Meanwhile, the “Values of Design” exhibition, which is running until Aug. 4 at the center’s first floor, draws from the V&A’s extensive collection in London. The ticket is 50 yuan. Austrian graphic designer Henry Steiner, recognized as the “father of Hong Kong graphic design,” is exhibiting his exciting design works and collections on the second floor of the center until June 20. The ticket is also 50 yuan.

‘Little Prince’ exhibition

An exhibition themed after the world-famous novella “The Little Prince” is being held in town. Most exhibits on the fourth floor of the lifestyle store are origami installations depicting characters from the story, such as of the elephant which is eaten by a snake, the rose and the fox.
